LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this program participants will be empowered to actively engage in decision making processes in Canada’s healthcare system having gained fundamental knowledge of the health system’s organization, finance and regulation through presentation, case-based discussion and question/answer formats. Since the curriculum delivers content in both healthcare system fundamentals and effective leadership skills, participants will also have developed a greater self-awareness of personal leadership style, communication style and how participants might be perceived by others as a leader, through facilitated round-table discussions and review of individual assessment reports guided by experts in their respective field. This understanding will further enhance participants’ ability to actively engage fellow stakeholders at systematic and policy levels in a productive and collaborative manner.
