Go beyond the “Essential Searching Skills” workshop by learning more advanced systematic search methods to apply to knowledge synthesis projects. Attendees will learn what is involved in knowledge synthesis projects, advanced searching skills, and will learn about managing citations and screening.

 

Learning Objectives

 

• At the end of this workshop the learners will be able to:
  • Review how to create a searchable question
  • Apply limits, Boolean operators, and advanced search skills to a database
  • Build a comprehensive, systematic search
  • Learn how to access citation management tools and screening tools
