Target audience

General internists, subspecialists, hospitalists, family physicians, residents, and fellows in training specializing in internal medicine.

Clinical workshops on day 1 are suitable for variety of learners and clinicians.

The course is open to all interested medical and other healthcare professionals and medical educators.

 

Learning objectives

  • Apply a practical approach to the diagnosis and management of common problems encountered in hospital-based internal medicine practice.
    Apply a practical approach to the diagnosis and management of common internal medicine problems encountered in the ambulatory care setting.
  • Integrate updates in evidence-based practice to enhance patient care.
  • Identify recent advances and controversies in internal medicine.

Aim: accessible presentation of practical, up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge useful in everyday practice. Opportunity to discuss most relevant statements presented in latest guidelines, with take-home messages for immediate implementation.
